Commute is a hero’s journey through the moon. A small hole leads to a search for equilibrium. Warnings from a tour guide, who is based on the imaginative writings of Descartes, have no effect. The animation digitally incorporates stop-motion clay figures and rapidly cycling charcoal drawings.
