Beyrouth
2001 – Computer Animation, 9 min.
Beyrouth is an imaginary, operatic debate that could have happened between my grandfather and great-grandfather. The libretto's subject deals with essential human relationships to aspects of life such as patience, love, and appetite. The result is a dream-like animation featuring a dancing Black-Eyed Pea, a swimming bus and a singing donkey which illustrate some of the more profound theoretical issues of human existence.
